Being able to take accurate measurements is a core skill regardless of which material you're working with - a major aspect of making stuff yourself is to obtain pieces that exactly suit your needs so make sure you've recorded those needs correctly before you cut too deep ;-)

Being able to take accurate measurements is a core skill regardless of which material you're working with - a major aspect of making stuff yourself is to obtain pieces that exactly suit your needs so make sure you've recorded those needs correctly before you cut too deep ;-)
