We got a silent air compressor for use within our workshop with the following specs:
- Noise: 59 db
- Capacity: 24 liters
- Max pressure: 8 bar
- Motor Power: 1kW
Pressure Control
This compressor does only have one outlet. On this outlet, it will always deliver the set up pressure, which you can adjust by turning the pressure reduction knob on the top. Turning the knob clockwise will increase pressure, counterclockwise turning increases it!
For an accurate adjustment, first close the reducer all the way and then open it to the desired extent.
Maintenance
Compressors collect ambient humidity over time that condenses on the inside. You should drain excess water from the tank before and after long runs - release the air from the tank first!
Accessories
So far, we have:
- a simple blow gun
- tire filler (Reifenfüller) with Michelin fitting ("car valve")
- CAUTION: the reading seems to be 0.3 bar too low, i.e. if you fill a tire according to the dial you will overfill it by 0.3 bar (comparison with digital gas station compressor
- 20 m hose drum
