Blacksheep kindly donated a Scheppach DP 16 SL drill press in August 2019.
From a technical point of view, it offers the following:

  • Drill mount: 1 - 16 mm (neues Futter)
  • Speed: 510 800 - 2430 rpm

Drill Speeds

When changing the belt position, unlock the the motor hinge with the screw on the right side. Then move the belt on the pulley that reduces the diameter and afterwards change the belt position on the second pulley (similar to changing the chain on a bike). When the belt is in its final position, it should be level (waagerecht) and have enough slack so the motor can be pushed back and re-locked with the screw.
The slowest speed is currently not available due to a broken pulley!

Depth Stop

The original depth stop collar broke relatively soon, so Patrick designed a 3D printable replacement part.
