We have a couple of disc grinders in the metal workshop. For small-scale applications, try using a rotary tool before you whip out this beast.
It can be used to cut or grind metal or stone, depending on the disc used. Cutting discs (Trennscheiben) should not be used for grinding and grinding discs (Schruppscheiben) should not be used for cutting as they are primarily reinforced for one of the purposes. Aluminum can reportedly clog and overheat the disc, can anyone confirm this?
The "King Craft" grinder works with 125 mm discs.
Make sure the disc is securely fastened and spins without an offset before cutting anything!
