The RL 160 extraction system automatically vacuums the sliding table saw, jointer-planer, and table saw. It can independently disconnect from machines that are not in use. The extraction power is sufficient to operate all three machines simultaneously.
Regular Maintenance
- Before and after each use, check if the dust collection container is full.
- Two small sight glasses allow the fill level to be checked from the outside. A maximum fill line indicates the limit—exceeding it will result in significant cleaning effort.
- After changing the dust collection bag, the filter should be cleaned. To do this, there is a slider above the compressor that must be pulled out and pushed back in. This releases fine dust trapped in the filter into the newly inserted bag.
- A step-by-step guide with images coming soon TM
Collection bag dimensions 740x630x1300x0.1mm (original Felder, without creditcard ).
Automation
- The machine will show a red status light when the dust bags are full. Dust levels are measured in the center of each bin.
- There are three sliders labeled 1, 2, and 3, corresponding to the power sockets for automatic machine startup.
- Ensure that machines are correctly plugged into the corresponding sockets for proper operation.
- The air filters should start whenever the air extraction starts and stay running for about 30 minutes.
Operation and Safety
- The extraction system has its own built-in compressor, which activates when needed. It is permanently connected to the system and should not be used for any other purpose.
- If a hose bursts, unplug the compressor immediately to prevent continuous operation.
- The compressor plug is located directly behind the compressor.
