A pruning saw is a simple handheld saw commonly used in gardening for trimming branches. Hardened teeth with a special geometry make this saw an "allrounder" - while that is okay for quick and dirty cuts, you may want to have a look at our other saws for actual woodworking projects.
This type of saw is able to plunge into the workpiece as the blade is equally thick all over, making it a useful hand tool for resizing large plywood sheets.
