Abrasive blasting (a.k.a. "sandblasting"/"Sandstrahlen", but never actually use sand as blast media!) is a technique where you basically shoot your workpiece with countless tiny abrasive particles.

You could potentially do it outside with just a compressor and an appropriate blasting gun, but our blast cabinet provides a much safer, cleaner and more effective option if the workpiece is small enough.
