Feed Direction

My "only feed left to right" comment applies only to the (very common) setup with a fence and working on the outside of a workpiece, not to inside cuts - same as with the "different" proper feed directions for inside and outside cuts with a handheld router. We should probably illustrate this with a schematic rather than an easily misunderstood sentence... --Lukas (talk) 17:31, 20 September 2018 (CEST)

Schematic is schematized! Even with animation as this is really important... Any remaining questions? --Lukas (talk) 17:41, 23 October 2018 (CEST)
yes, two points:
1. The animation does only show when you specifically open the gif due to the high resolution. Does it really need to be a high resolution gif?
2. The animation only shows cutting on the inside of your workpiece. I understand that the principle is the same when cutting on the outside. However, I would propose a specific schematic for that. --NitramLegov (talk) 20:41, 23 October 2018 (CEST)

Okay, you win - decreasing the resolution was easy after all, I could scale down every layer simultaneously in the GIMP file :-)
Fence schematic is also up but we won't need to print that out - I drew arrows directly onto the fence with oil pastels. --Lukas (talk) 18:40, 27 October 2018 (CEST)
