Edging Shoes

Altendorf F45 Edging Shoe.jpg
Synonyms: DE: Besäumniederhalter
Type: workholding accessory
Used with: Altendorf F 45 sliding table saw
Similar (More or Less): Fritz & Franz

Edging shoes need to be used for workholding on the sliding table saw whenever you are trimming thick and/or warped boards that Fritz & Franz can not hold securely.

Instead of the classic approach with an edging shoe in the back and an "edging helper" featuring anti-slip nails in the front, we are going to make a second edging shoe for the front.
