Screwdriver bits are interchangeable tips for hex bit screwdrivers. You can use them with a cordless drill but not with the drill press and most corded drills as these applies way too much torque and speed! The cordless drill should always be used with medium to low torque setting and a low speed (1st gear) at least at the beginning.
Please also be aware that only special impact bits should be used with an impact driver (Schlagschrauber)! If in doubt, always disable the impact function or you will quickly damage the bit.
When mounting long bits (or short bits with a bit holder) into a chuck, make sure that the chuck teeth are centered on the flat sides of the bit when tightened or you will lose or damage the bit.
1/4" Hex Drive Bits
These are the "typical" screwdriver bits you probably know from your own toolbox. The list below shows which ones you should be able to find in the Space - quantities may not interest you, but here you can quickly check whether a certain drive is available or whether you should bring (or donate) that bit yourself!

Bit Holders
Bit holders (DE: Bithalter) are necessary to mount short-shaft bits into a power driver such as a cordless drill but may also add functionality to a handheld bit screwdriver. For instance, there are quick-release holders, such with a strong magnet for one-handed operation, and simple extension pieces without any extras.
