If you already know which raw materials or components you will be working with, the corresponding "Material" pages might come in handy! They help you to pick the appropriate tools and often contain additional details like sourcing options or glues and paints that should work for you. Not every material we write about can regularly be found at on site at the CoMakingSpace - with storage being one of our main limitations and several supply sources (hardware/crafts/haberdashery stores) nearby, we focus on stocking small or hard-to-get parts and materials. The MaterialInfoBox on the corresponding page will tell you what you can expect.
We have a few material specific categories (links at the bottom of this page), or you may want to have a look at our list of all material pages.
Didn't find what you where looking for? Feel free to create a page for a material that is not in this list yet! The list of wanted pages already contains many materials other Makers would like to see some info about. Each material page should belong to the "Material" namespace - simply begin the page title with
Material: - and feature a MaterialInfoBox.
A nice external source for materials of all sorts is materialarchiv.ch.
