Welding Wire

Welding Wire is used in GMAW and acts as both the electrode and the filler. It is sold in different thicknesses, alloys and spool sizes. Be careful when handling it as its springiness unwinds it from the spool and leaves you with a tangled mess when not constrained (way way more worth than 3d printer filament. The thickness is determent by the tip of the welding gun. The alloys needs to be compatible with your work piece. The spool needs the fit the machine.
