Idea
The dust extraction of the Chop Saw was missing an adapter at multiple points. My first opinion was that it would be easier to fix this with off the self sleeve. This mostly worked but the connection directly with the chop saw was too loose. A ring around the sleeve that sits tight enough and is connected to the harder part of the chop saw would fix this.
Creation Steps / Process
A simple ring with a slightly smaller inner diameter compared to the sleeve and two knobs that engage the chop saw was printed with PLA since it doesn't need to hold any mechanical load.
Learnings
Sometimes it is easier to fix something with off the shelf components than to design and print the whole thing but sometimes a combination is best.
