Fritzing is a simple electronics prototyping software. It allows you to assemble your circuit on a virtual breadboard to document it, which can be handy when sharing project descriptions.

For more advanced functions, you might be interested in KiCad as well.

However, it is arguably a much better use of your time to learn a proper EDA program like KiCad if you plan to create custom parts or PCBs. ^[2]
