There are some concerns on fumes that are created by the FFF/FDM 3D printing process. We are collecting available information here.

ABS will release fumes when heated that can cause a headache and may be carcinogenic, so we choose not to print ABS without an enclosure and active coal filter. PLA does not have this effect, but will also increase the concentration of particles in the air.
