I saw some pics on the internet of sculptures made out of pencil lead. I decided to start with something simple.

Xmas trees seemed just right. I used a [[Scalpel|Scalpel blade]] to carve into the rotating rod. It´s a good idea to rest the blade on the lathe´s cutting tool.
