General Guidelines

  • Always choose the appropriate tool for the load type and weight

  • Wear safety shoes
  • Do not transport living things (e.g. humans)
  • Report any damage or malfunction immediately

Engine Hoist / Shop Crane

Description

A hydraulic engine hoist (shop crane) is used to lift heavy components vertically.

  • Lifting engines or large machine parts
  • Moving heavy equipment onto workbenches or pallets
  • Supporting assembly/disassembly tasks
