Cleaning Brushes

From CoMakingSpace Wiki

Brushes for cleaning can have soft or stiff bristles but generally shouldn't damage your workpiece. If you're not sure whether a brush may leave scratches, try it on a scrap piece or where you won't see it upon assembly!

Wire brushes are found on a separate page.

Sweeping Brushes

Sweeping your work area often is a good idea as a clean bench protects your workpiece and allows proper clamping. A little broom-type hand brush will come in handy.

Toothbrushes

A cheap toothbrush is great for cleaning in tight spaces!

Vegetable Brushes

Stiff bristles made of roots (DE "Wurzelbürste) or synthetic filament are useful for numerous applications, e.g. cleaning files.
