Hello together,
i started my carrier as "Maker" with 10 years by imploding a TV with the attemp to repair it by replacing some death tubes with nearly similar ones .... a capacitor bursted and hit the vacuum tube. In betwheen i improved a little bit and not all projects will end that spectacular.
I studied Physiks and i'am working now for nearly 20 years as an R&D engineer for a couple of startups and manufacturing systems companies. One of my main topics is to build demonstrators and prototypes for tests and proof of principle in a very short time. To save time and having the freedom to do stuff in one rush i invested a lot of time and money in tools and workshop equipment and learnd (often the hard way..) to work with it.
